Your email address, the name you go by, and what your family chooses to keep here — words, photos, dates, letters, voices. Nothing is collected behind your back: no trackers, no advertising cookies, only the cookie that keeps you signed in.
What we never do
We never sell, trade, or hand over what you entrust here — not your grief, not your faith, not your family's story; not to advertisers, not to anyone. Even our own product counting is anonymous by design: it carries no name, no account, no faith — it could not identify you if it tried.
Where your memories live
In a data center in Singapore, encrypted on the way there and at rest. Private letters are sealed with a further layer of encryption of their own, so that even our own staff cannot read them.
Who can see what
Every space is private by default. You decide who may enter — you alone, your family, or people you hand the link to — and the database itself enforces that choice on every single request. It is a wall, not a setting.
Your rights
Take everything home any time, in an open format made to stay readable for fifty years. Ask us to correct what is wrong. Ask us to erase you — erasure works by tombstone, removing your personal details while the family's shared memories stay whole for those who remain.
Children
HALUMA is for people 13 and older. We do not knowingly keep an account for anyone younger; if we find one, we erase it.
